Annie Cresta's life has been full of misery and everyone knows that. After her mother left the family and her father killed himself, Annie was taken in by her kind uncle, Sidney Cresta and his family. Annie swears to herself to never go crazy like her father did. But about 12 years later, the 70th Hunger Games takes place and much of a shock happens. Annie gets chosen! Together with her district partner and childhood friend, Preston Schubert, the two of them need to work on how to survive from their mentors, wise Mags and handsome Finnick Odair. But will Annie get distracted by love or memories instead of being focused?

Never In Your Favour
I wanted to write a story with explicit scenes that worked perfectly well if you wanted to read it without them too. The love of Finnick Odair and Annie Cresta seemed so pure, so human, that I wanted to give them a fully fleshed put backstory, because let's face it, they deserve one. From their childhood, to Finnick's games, to his time in the Capitol, to Annie's games to the events of the actual series, this book has it all... and more! I will be returning to old chapters and fleshing them out as I see fit, as well as writing new ones. All explicit scenes will be handled tastefully in the regular chapters, similarly to Peeta and Katniss in mockingjay with the 'so after...'. The chapter after one of these moments will be an appropriately signed explicit scene, that won't add anything to the story that wasn't there already. So enjoy this story, but remember, in Panem, the odds are never in your favour...

When Annie Cresta is reaped into the Seventieth Hunger Games, she reconnects with her former best friend, Finnick Odair. So much has transpired since his own Games, and Annie begins to learn just how deep the Capitol's conspiracies go as she fights for her life and falls in love... *** I DO NOT OWN OR CLAIM TO OWN ANY RIGHTS TO THE CHARACTERS FEATURED IN THIS STORY*** I have wanted to write my own interpretation of Annie and Finnick's story since I was 13 and the original trilogy's movies were still coming out. This is the story I've always wanted to tell. I welcome any and all feedback on the writing/story, as I have aspirations of being an author, and this was great practice for me.
