Victoria Lawrence is what you would call far from normal; weird is fine, but not normal. She is a teenage vampire who has been berated by others in both the supernatural and non-supernatural world. She skulks from home to combat in an unending battle. She encounters Jason DeVries, a teenage werewolf now in his 'Jerk' stage, and things take a bad turn, but of course, nothing good ever lasts. 

He brings her to the concealed, numinous city named Niakos or popularly as Blood City to be a prisoner. But the big question is, why let her live with him? As much as she tried to escape, it was hopeless. 

She will make friends and enemies...particularly enemies. She had to make a new life, and forget her past one filled with people who didn't care about her. Little did she know that her prison would link her to a world she had forgotten to remember.

Now centered on self-discovery, unfamiliar challenges arise as she crosses paths with people she didn't know existed. Victoria's life was about to change, but was she ready?
