Not a lot of 16 year olds have to worry about the cops coming and telling you that someone you dearly love has been killed, or finding out that your mother rules some distant planet full of vampires, angels, werewolves, and demons. Trust me, I wasn't one of them... Until it actually happen to me... so this is my story

My name is Grace Shield and my life is not normal. Vampire's have been taking over the city. They murdered and drained my family's blood in front of my very eyes. Never in my life has my mom ever said something so horrible, so disgusting. Never in my sixteen years of living, have I heard something so awful and cruel.
