Zara sighed and looked up at him. He was a sweaty mess, his hair matte to his face as he stared at her through his thick lashes. The rain continued to pour down on both of them as he took a step forward.
She shook her head, wanting to leave. Never want to see him again. After those words came out of his mouth, she was determined to get as far away from her as possible.
Jef stepped forward and wrapped her up in his arms. She struggled, tears threatening to come out.
"Let me go." She whispered, and he shook his head and pulled her closer.
"No. You-" He whispered, choking up on his words," You are the one I want to stay this time. Don't tucking leave me, please." He whispered, pulling her closer to him, hugging her so tightly like he was afraid she was going to disappear from his sight any moment.
And then he kissed her. A fierce, possessive yet loving kiss. A kiss that branded her as his.
