When you hear these words, what's the first thing that comes to your mind?

Sorrow.

Pity.

Agony.

Loveless.

That's the ideology of people all around the world. Why else would they always sympathize and bring us their old toys and junk whenever they visit? They're the ones that make life seem so miserable to us.

But to be frank, my life doesn't suck. And I don't even have a mum or dad. Heck, I don't think I need a mum or dad. I got friends, guardians, people I can comfortably call my family. So drop your petty charity whenever you come to an orphanage. Whenever you see us, treats us like equals. Treat us like friends.

Treat us like actual people.

Thanks to St.Maurice Orphanage camp, I am not afraid to say that my life, as an orphan, is still better than the lives of a family of five, living in a mansion on Rhode island. Because here, I am loved, educated, well fed, and above all, regarded as a normal kid. Not an orphan."
