Everything used to be so simple. So easy. So normal.
Before the Change. Before the deaths. Before the war.
But it's not easy or simple now, and it will never go back to being normal. The Earth is under attack.
Every monster, every creature of the night and shadows that your parents scared you with tales of when you were younger - they're all real. How do I know this? I fight them. I have no choice. They are sent after me, sicked on me like a pack of rabid dogs and I'm a fresh steak.
As bad as they are, though, they aren't the real problem. The Queen of an Alien race that wants to take over the Earth - to eradicate all life on it, to devour its very core - is coming, and she's stronger than any demon or monster I've yet to face.
It is my destiny to save the Earth. I will not let her have it.
I'm not strong enough to stop her yet, but I'm working on it, and luckily, I'm not alone. Beside me I have a rag-tag team of misfits (most of which are less "Human" than others), but we are Earth's only hope.
