Life is just another day at the beach, until different lives intertwine, and someone else's problems become yours.

Cameron Ferris has the world at his feet. His parents own the biggest tech company in America, making his family extremely rich. His life consists of social events he doesn't want to go to, rules he doesn't like following, and snobby people he's forced to befriend. After an accident resulting in him being hospitalized, he meets Sadie, a girl who turns his life upside down.

Sadie Brown doesn't do friends. She's working towards her Olympic dream of surfing, and doesn't need anyone getting in the way. She works at the family bakery with her brother, selling pastries and sneaking off to the beach against her parents' wishes. When she meets Cameron, old wounds are opened, forcing her to try and face the scars she desperately tries to hide.

Max Brown knows he won't amount to anything. At nineteen, he still doesn't know what he wants to to do with his life. He's well aware that drawing won't get him into college, and has accepted the fact that his life will forever be boring. He's working at the family bakery with Sadie when Cordelia walks in, turning his boring life into an adventure.

Cordelia Harper is your average journalism major. Living off of coffee, always tired, yet infinitely curious. Her anxiety seems to completely control her life, making it hard for her to even dream of becoming a journalist. But when she catches wind of a story that goes deeper than meets the eye, Max is on board to help her get the scoop.

Two with a hunger for adventure.
Two with huge secrets.
It's not just another day at the beach.

** BARNES AND NOBLE TEEN SELECTION 2015 - TOP 7 YA's THAT WILL LEAVE YOU TERRIFIED OF THE OCEAN ** "Dawson's Creek meets Jaws and The Goonies in a twisted, supernatural tale unlike anything I've ever read. I am totally addicted!" - ARC reviewer SUMMARY: Eila Walker knows luck is not a friend, so she is downright shocked to inherit a million-dollar Cape Cod home. And yeah, her new town isn't perfect: the cheerleaders are heinous clones, the local undertow can kill ya, and her Great Grams was supposedly fried by lightning in the harbor square. Still, Eila is hopeful her luckless days are in the past . . . until history decides to repeat itself. When Raef O'Reilly becomes her friendly, yet weirdly protective shadow, Eila thinks life is pretty darn perfect - until she is hauled beneath the waves by an unnatural undertow. Revealing coal-black eyes and iron-like strength as he rescues her, Raef can no longer hide what he is . . . or what she can do. Eila, last of her kind, can supposedly channel the power of human souls, while Raef is more adept at stealing them. Even worse, the legend about her ancestor isn't such a myth, since Eila's grandmother was one kick-butt warrior until her lightning-like power backfired. A power that is written all over Eila's DNA. Determined to stay one step ahead of a dangerous clan that is hunting her, Raef, along with three unlikely allies, will do all they can to protect her. But as hidden pieces of their brutal histories unravel, Eila begins to understand just what went down in the harbor square. She soon realizes that following in her grandmother's fearless footsteps may be the only way to save those she loves . . . including Raef.

Theo is the ultimate embodiment of confidence and wealth. His family's fortune affords him the luxury of high-end fashion, exclusive parties, and a social circle that worships his every move. However, under his flawless exterior, Theo is completely detached from the idea of love, viewing it as a mere game or fleeting connection. Love letters flood his locker daily, but they only serve to amuse him-until one letter changes everything. This isn't just a random confession. It's a mysterious letter-deeply personal, full of longing, and meant for someone else. Written by someone who's long secretly harbored feelings for Wren, the brilliant and elusive engineering student, the letter was never meant to reach Theo. For almost a week, Theo doesn't even notice it, buried in the pile of love letters and confessions he has no interest in. It's only after he reads it aloud during their lunch break (unintentionally drawing the attention of all of Theo's friends) that the letter's presence creates a subtle rift in their friendship. The letter is addressed to Wren, but has no sender's name-just an unnamed, heartfelt confession. The mystery piques Theo's curiosity, and instead of tossing it like he would with any other letter, he decides to personally deliver it to Wren. The catch? Wren's life is so busy and mysterious that finding her becomes a game of hide and seek. Not only does she barely leave the engineering building, but when she does, she's swarmed by projects and commitments. Theo finds himself growing more and more frustrated, caught between trying to fulfill this random mission and becoming increasingly obsessed with who could've written such an intense, secretive letter.
