Cornelia Holgate was an awkward, lonesome teenager, until the day she was attacked and almost killed by a vampire. Nadine Burns must now learn to face being a Newborn vampire in a world where there is no kindhearted feelings and sunshine and rainbows. To top it all, she was turned by one of the most powerful vampire leaders in her city and must also learn how to parade around in vampire politics.
