"You must save your Clan." The cat's gaze bore into Mintpaw's. The young she-cat didn't meet the green eyes, looking down at her paws.
"Why me?" The apprentice finally spoke, flicking her tail tip. "I'm only an apprentice. I hardly know how to fight. StarClan... I don't even know who to fight. How...?" She flinched, startled when the cat flicked his tail tip over her shoulders, and looked up.
"You will know what to do when your time comes." The Tom's starry eyes met hers, showing compassion, love, and loyalty. He pressed his nose to her head. "We will show you the way."
