Ever since the mysterious sudden death of her mother, life for 14-year-old Addison has been a whirlwind of pain and sorrow. For seven long years, she's suffered at the hands of her new guardians, Edna and Guy, enduring everything from neglect and verbal abuse to drugs and the dangers of living in the "Slums".
But when Addison discovers the identity and whereabouts of her biological father, she is suddenly forced to run away and find him in a last-minute effort to save her life.

How will Sherlock react to meeting his daughter?
How will he cope with having to raise a fourteen-year-old girl?
What happened to Addison's mother?
And what will the world have to say?

(Based on the BBC TV show, Sherlock but placed in America during the 90's)
(This is a new and refurbished version of an old story I wrote when I was 16.)
(There are a few minor changes to specific things in the story but is overall true to the show.)

24 parts Complete

Miss Trivet lives in the guilt of her mistakes. It is her fault her daughter doesn't have a father and she knows if she really wanted to, she could change that. However her pride is too strong. Miss Trivet does everything in her power to prevent her daughter from being like her father but Miss Trivet made a big mistake and now her daughter is interacting with the second person she hates most. Kayla Trivet knows her mother doesn't love all of her. In fact, she would say she only ever sees anger, guilt or hatred in her eyes. She's been foreseeing this coming for a long time but has her lessons with her uncle paid off or will her mother's choice drive her to the breaking point? (It is completed but I'm slowly editing it).
