When Chaser High's nerdy twins Andrew and Anna Harston disappeared, everything had started to go wrong. The weather turned ice cold. There was chaos in the normally busy and peaceful city. And the secret lives of Allison, Sheryn, Yssa, Sophie, Dani, Drake, Jake, Jed, Kevin and Max were revealed. Doom, Mitch, Destrui and Jinx freeze time in the normal world so that they can go and search for the Harston twins. And that's how they stumbled upon Caxel, the other world. The world beyond Earth. A world that can be like heaven and hell at the same time. They have to go after what or who abducted the twins and bring them back in only 101 days. And in this adventure they learn the importance of friendship, how to be confident and determined, and even pick up the pieces of the twisted love stories of their lives and stitch it back together again along the way. After The Uprising, the Lurwicks' lives were completely turned around along with the rest of The Group. Twin sisters Waverly and Willow are now the only family that they have. With the help of Waverly's boyfriend, Cameron, they've been left in charge of a group of elementals: The Group. Now five years after The Uprising, their lives have become as normal as it could possibly be for three 17 year-olds raising 29 other kids and teenagers. However, things begin to get out of control when the very group of people that killed the Lurwicks' friends and family come back to Boston. The Seekers aren't back for the twins, though, but rather for their supposed-to-be-dead older brother, Keegan. When the twins and Cameron stumble upon Keegan-who now goes by Jake for lack of remembering his real name or anything for that matter-they take him in as a fugitive hiding from The Seekers. Unfortunately, by helping Jake, The Group has become an enemy of The Seekers yet again and they now face an impending war between the two groups of elementals.
