A certain Lord Raglan once noted that legendary heroes at least half-fit a sort of legendary-hero profile. But most well-documented people are poor fits. Nobody knew that they were coming, and nobody tries to stop them by killing them in their infancy. But what if something like that happened in modern times? How might it go?
