Abby, a high-school student, a caring daughter, and a sister, was leading a difficult life. Her mother died when she was born and that left her father with nothing but hatred for her. Despite all the abusing she had to face every day done by her drunken father, she still loved her father and her brother, who was unlike her father very supportive and caring towards her.

But little did she know that these people, for whom she was willing to do anything, would do such harm to her life.

To save her brother's life, she had to compromise unwantedly. She had to marry the only heir of the Wright Company, Aden Wright, who was also a senior at her high school, with his charming good looks and his casual manner, every girl in high school is lusting after him. While She wasn't popular -- just another student coasting through high school and counting down the days until graduation.

Marriage, a notion of love as presumed by girls her age, didn't exactly turn out the way she dreamt of. It was just another trial of her life. First, it was her father now an ignorant husband, who won't even glance her way and think of her just as a source of discomfort that turned his life upside down, into a mess. He was deeply in love with someone else, someone much older than him but her caring nature and adoring attitude towards him was all there to attract him to give in as deeply as he had. That's why he hated Abby for destroying his life because he always wanted to marry Sarah to treasure her for all his life like she used to do.

Will she be able to make her father accept her as his daughter and be loved? Will she be able to make her husband look her way in a loving manner? And most importantly Will her compromise be able to save her brother's life and her family's grandeur?
