Punished

"My name is Maelynn. For as long as I knew, I lived in the world of the dead. They were mostly nice to me. The spirits of the underworld were always there to talk about their past lives or to learn me things. They told me how it was to be in the world up there, where everything was just like me, alive. I wanted to go there too, to see how it would be like. But the only thing keeping me away from doing that, was my safety. Here in the underworld, I would be safe. Safe, for all the dangers a daughter of the gods could meet."
