When they realize what kind of power the crystal really holds, SMG4 decides to take it back to the Showgrounds for further inspection and safety. Not just for that... but to also figure out why all of his friends have something special within them, but he doesn't. But what he doesn't realize is that power is hungrier than the people who want it. ("Episode" in the title basically means that it's an episode length instead of the usual novel or "movie" length.) They meet SMG3, the owner of the casino, who isn't all too pleased with the damage caused. SMG4 begs for the man to spare his moronic friend's life, but Mario isn't too keen on sticking around and bails on SMG4. SMG3 puts SMG4 to work in order to pay off the debt his friend incurred. SMG4 hates the work, being humiliated and having to work for peanuts, but a small bit of him finds himself attracted to his new boss, and his boss feels the same.
