Ever since Jason was born he was treated like shit. His parents were always arguing and sometimes refused to feed him. He was barely allowed to go outside and play. He only had one friend, but he never got to see him, since the day they were born.
He never went to school.
Anytime an argument would come up he would get involved and his dad would beat him up until he needed to go to the hospital.
The neighbors were scared to call the cops and so was he.
For thirteen years he had to put up with this bullshit. And now all he knows is anger. So whenever someone says "hi" to him he tells them to "shut the fuck up!"
And now that the apocalypse has started Jason and his dad head out to find a place to stay, but their arguments keep on happening.
Jason's father still abuses him, ever since they arrived at the prison
Carl tries to befriend Jason, but Jason kept turning him down for three whole months, until one day he realized that he was the friend he met the day both of them were born.
Jason knows that his friendship won't last, but he has hope that it does.
Will Jason get his anger under control?
Will Jason and Carl remain friends?
Or will Jason's dad separate them by killing one of them?

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly. "How so?" he asked, glancing at her. "I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare." He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that." OR Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
