Levi Dailing lives in the dark, tilted sad looking apartment, with his mum and her boyfriend. Nights are spent quietly singing himself to calm down as he lays in the bathtub, drowning out the noise of the shouting, screaming and pleading. At school he's the perfect cool guy but it's all a facade, covering up the real sensitive person Levi is.

Nora Harting is all colours and bright lights. Her yellow stockings are her signature look, she walks around school not caring what people think of her, hoping the glares and weird looks she gets don't get to her. But that isn't reality and for once Levi Dailing is doing something write that Nora isn't. He's fitting in while she's just getting by.

The pair are certain that they are completely different people, but soon find out, that without the fake masks hides real beauty.
