First Impressions: A Modern Pride and Prejudice Adaptation
The timeless classic "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen updated and retold for the 21st century. Liz Bennet lives with her parents and four sisters in the resort town of Meryton, where they run The Longbourn Inn. Liz, the second eldest Bennet sister, finds herself facing a busy summer season, and then two semesters out of school as she tries to decide what she should do for her future career. But then the affable Chip Bingley, his standoffish sisters, and his surly best friend, Fitzwilliam Darcy, rent a lake house for the summer, changing the Bennet family's lives in ways none of them could foresee.

Pride And Prejudice, The Sequel
I have just finished reading Pride and Prejudice for the 100th time, and I really wanted to see how Elizabeth and Darcy handle their married life, so I decided to write my own sequel. This is just to satisfy my own wild side, I have never been to Great Britain (but I would love to!), and I know very little of the 19th century traditions. *I appreciate all the corrections I get on the culture/timeline/location/language/plotline dearly and would do my best to fix my mistakes in the story. I only request that you put a smiley face emoji at the end of a correction 😀. It is not a requirement, but it would be highly appreciated.

Is Mr. Darcy Too Late? While Mr. Darcy rushes to London to help Lydia avoid ruination, the unexpected death of their father throws Elizabeth Bennet's future into doubt. Elizabeth accepts the first position as a governess she can find-with the Countess of Bremont and her ward, Madeleine. The Countess is crueler than she could have imagined, and Elizabeth finds herself a virtual prisoner alongside Madeleine. Elizabeth must devise a plan to free herself and her young friend from the Countess's schemes... Mr. Darcy searches for Elizabeth with the only information he has: her name and her position. Will he find Elizabeth before the Countess separates them forever? This is a Cinderella story of 50,000 words that features second chances, masquerade balls, a lost love, forbidden love, women in peril and a happy reunion.
