Kelsey Carlisle is a little bit famous. And a little bit spoiled. She's a beautiful girl, a model who's acted in a few movies, but whom no one takes seriously. She now has a chance to be in a "real" movie about an Olympic swimmer. Except that Kelsey isn't a great swimmer. So she needs a coach. Enter Jack.
Jack LaGuardia is a great swimmer. But he's very serious, studious, and doesn't really have time for someone as silly and superficial as Kelsey. He does agree that Kelsey is beautiful, but so what? She's also spoiled, shallow, and not very bright.
He could never be interested in her.
??
"Okay," he said. "You go get ready, and point me toward the pool."
"What do you mean?" Kelsey asked in confusion. She looked down at herself. She was already wearing a suit, a nice one, too. Though, come to think of it, he hadn't spared her bikini-clad body a second glance.
"You can't mean you're going to swim in that?" he said. His eyes took her in, from head to toe, but instead of the admiration she was used to getting, he was looking--what--amused?
"What?" she demanded. "What's wrong with what I'm wearing?"
"Well, um, you're supposed to be a real swimmer, right?" he asked, hands on hips. "I mean, you're going to play one? At Kelsey's nod he continued. "Okay, well, there's no way a real swimmer would work out in that. And your hair needs to be up in a cap. And you need goggles."
"No way." The words were out of her mouth before she could stop herself. "I've seen those work out suits, and I can't be seen in one of those, they look awful. They cut into your skin, and they mash down your--your, um, body." Kelsey looked down at her chest. "And I can't put my hair up in a cap. They're ugly! Same for the goggles. No one will be able to see my face if I'm wearing those."
They faced each other in the living room.
This was not going to work. She needed a new coach.
Immediately, if not sooner.

A reflection. Do you like yours, love yours or hate yours? There's many people in this world who dislike theirs, not because of the physicality that they see in a mirror, but because they know what's lurking behind the eyes that stare. So much can be seen in yourself from your own pair of eyes, things that others don't seem to see. Do you know why that is? That's because no one knows you better than you know yourself. A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice. Little did she know, that would all change at first glance. She saw the eyes, she noticed their blue, she stared for a second too long, and now she knows that there's no going back. He'll claim her. ~If I take a step away from him, he takes a step closer to me. If I run, he'll find his way back.~ ~I'm trying my goddamned hardest to not act on the ache I'm feeling to place my lips on hers, just to have a little taste, because I don't want to appear as some sex-driven teenage boy who just wants to claim her body. Because I don't. I want to claim her heart.~ *Mature content: Strong language, aggressive behaviour, sexual content etc.* Note: Don't skip past the prologue. A bit of the dialogue or description in the first half of the book may seem slightly immature; I'll have to edit that when I get the chance. Started: 31/08/18 Completed: 02/04/19

"New student, right?" the Principal asked me. I nodded meekly, hoping that he would turn out to be a patient suffering from short term memory loss and would forget about detention but his next words confirmed how rotten my luck was! "Mr Spencer, Ms Wilson" he began in an icy calm voice," creating a raucous in the corridors right outside my office isn't exactly a heroic thing to do. Both of you have an option of either a week detention together or a two week detention together." My eyes shot wide open, "One week detention with him! That's practically impossible for humankind!" "I don't want to risk my bright IQ by serving detention with this psycho!" I heard Spencer jerk protest. "You have an IQ???" I looked at him, giving my best shocked expressions, "Is it the joke of the decade or joke of the century???" "Since you didn't react to my calling you a psycho, it confirms that you are one." he shrugged calmly. My brain was ready in an instant with a smart answer to that. I opened my mouth to give it back to him--- "STOP." The headmaster yelled, the pulse in his temple was throbbing red in fury. "The options are now changed to three week detention or four week detention." he muttered in anger. ***** Andrea Wilson was looking forward to having an ordinary life in school. But things don't turn out as planned when she accidentally gets into the bad books of the hot nerd in school. And when that popular nerd turns out to be her brother's best friend....well things don't really uncomplicate. Add to this generous amounts of classes, detentions, friends, enemies, crushes, heart breaks and Andrea is all set to have an eventful year in High School that she was for sure not looking forward to! ~*~~*~*~~*~ #7 in Teen Fiction 4.5.16

"What's going on?" "Nothing. Please just keep jogging or something." "What're you hiding, Kelsey?" Her eyes searched mine, then very slowly she gave in. "Um...if I tell you...can you promise that you won't be angry? And that you won't freak out and punch the poor guy?" "Why would I...are you cheating on Jason?" "What?" "Is that guy the person you're cheating on Jason with?" I demanded angrily. "He has been nothing but good to you, Kelsey, how could you just cheat on him? He's a good guy!" "No! Ryder, that's not what this is!" For whatever reason, I believed her. "Fine," I said eventually. "I swear not to punch the guy if you tell me what's going on." "Um...it'd be kind of easier to show you than to tell you." I walked with Kelsey around the bench, and the guy stood up, looking down at me with very familiar eyes. Corey. I was looking up at Corey. Sorry Kelsey. And then I punched him. Book two, following A Bad Boy's Worst Nightmare. It's been almost a year since Corey left, leaving Ryder completely broken and alone. Now, he appears to be back once she sees him in the park. But when she's made to understand that the boy is in fact Corey's twin brother, she allows herself to let her guard down a little. But could trusting the brother of the boy that destroyed her heart really be the best idea? Or would he be just like his brother--the complete and total destruction of everything decent in Ryder's life?

Katiya Carpenter was born and raised in a perfectly small beach town. She spent her summers with the well-off "summer kids" and her best friends, she worked at the diner, and was top of her class. Life was good, until it wasn't. Eventually, Kate finds herself cheated on and unsure of her future. Until the Michaels move into town for the summer. And it might just happen that Jackson Michaels is exactly what she needs. ----------- I turned back to my friends, my eyes instantly running into Jack's. He was standing in front of the bleachers with Hendricks and a few other guys, talking to Genny. Jack was staring at me, as soon as I turned he flipped his head the other way. But it was too late. "Jack, right?" I said, smiling and getting his attention. "Yeah. You're Katiya, Kate." He gave me a dazzling smile. It made me smile back at him. "I mean, most people just pick one of the options, not both." He chuckled a little and took a step towards me. "Both is good. Who are you here to see?" He asked, looking around, and past me. "Nobody in particular." I seemed to say easily, even though I was in fact, here to watch Jason and my dad. "I mean, everyone. I know a lot of people. Small town." I tried to correct myself immediately, and I noticed Hannah holding back laughter as I stumbled on my words. "Gotcha." He said, still smiling wide and taking a glance back at the field. "Good to see you again, Katiya Kate." This time he said it as if it were one word. It made me smile on the inside. He turned and jogged back towards his team. I was such an idiot.

"'Bye.' I say after Edwin's kiss. He gives me a small smile that honestly looks more like a grimace. It makes me a little uncomfortable having him kiss me in the library. Edwin walks away, and someone standing in the corner of my vision makes me turn in my seat. A tall, muscular man is standing there, his arms crossed, staring at me. He's got dark brown hair, perfect eyebrows, and soft brown eyes. Honestly, he's gorgeous. And since I've read, and edited, about five articles about him, I recognize him immediately. Dane Sawyer. He's the best pitcher on our baseball team. He's hoping to go pro, although I'm not totally sure what the process is surrounding that, since I don't retain much of the information from the articles that I read about him. I know that he's also a junior, and that his girlfriend is hot as fuck. I've seen them together on campus. They're hard to miss because they are easily one of the most attractive couples that I've ever seen. I'm convinced that I must be hallucinating, because he makes eye contact and walks towards me. 'That was awkward.'" ~~~ Junior year is starting off chaotic for Mackenzie Brooks as she steps into her role as the editor-in-chief of the college's newspaper. She's smart, focused on school, the paper, and her TA responsibilities. Junior year should be starting off easy for Dane Sawyer. He's the star pitcher of the baseball team; attractive, athletic, desirable, with a hot girlfriend. Unfortunately, he's also failing computer science which is the one thing he sees that is in the way of his pro career. Different in more ways that one, when the two run into each other in the library, it's an immediate disaster. But when Dane convinces Mackenzie to be his tutor, both of their lives begin to change.

"I... Am here to see you.", I told him as I placed my hands around his neck. I could feel my heart beat getting faster but I had to keep it strong if I had to survive this scenario. "What?", Brandon asked completely startled. I leaned in more closer to him. The only good thing in this entire scene was that he wasn't pushing me back due to my creepy behaviour. "Oh... Bran, I was missing you so much, I just... I needed to see you.", I said as I came up with lie. "Are you drunk?", Brandon asked as he leaned in closer trying to smell my mouth. Thank God Fel had given me her mint gum only moments before I went commando and came inside the locker room. "What?", I scoffed still standing extremely close to Brandon. "I just.... I was missing your gorgeous face.", I told another lie. But wait? His face is gorgeous so that isn't a lie. And was I not missing seeing him? I noticed Brandon who just had his eyes popped out of his socket with bewilderment at my words. I decided to peck him on the cheek before I storm out of the locker room. I leaned ahead to peck Brandon who moved his face in my direction and instead of his cheeks, our lips crashed. Brushing against each other, our lips touched. I could feel fireworks exploding inside my entire body. With my neurological system not responding anymore. ******* Depicting the hostility and vulnerability of a young woman to a society the story centers around a normal sophomore, Amy Cole, who had a normal life. With new friends, shifting thoughts, confused feelings and fighting anxiety and standing for the right thing. Amy makes her way to the top. Only to get at the top of everyone's hate list.
