Ce concept précis de vampirisation que je décris et utilise vient d'un monde de Jeux de rôles contemporain « Vampire, La Mascarade », où pour rejoindre le rang des morts-vivants il faut qu'un Vampire vide l'être de tout son sang avant de lui redonner du sien. Nommé étreinte, ce passage donne la « vie » à la créature tout en créant un lien unique avec le Vampire qui l'a créée, ce que ressent ici notre petit rat.
