A Kingdom Forged in Blood and Amber

The Kingdom of Astythia. A land where little is known, but knowledge is craved. At its heart rests Souvell, the most developed land where both magic and normality reign.

Magic always comes at a price here. Everything that was fabricated within this world had to have a beginning, even down to the very first page that had been catalogued within Astythian history. And much like the paper that had words stained onto each woven thread, magic too, had to start somewhere. That beginning was known as Amber; the liquid which made magic possible.

When the supply of Amber from the White Palace is becoming more and more sporadic by order of the King. The talk of rebellion burns at the heart of this Kingdom, and Elena Roverndale just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Now being accused by King Donovan himself for having ties with this rebellion, Elena needs to earn her freedom by finding the true rebel leaders and eliminating them. Elena is no killer, but with the assistance of Corvo, a man who works under the Kings name with secrets far greater than what Elena could imagine; more questions spur.

Who can she trust? The line between friend and foe grows thin. Choices need to be made and deceit begins to unravel. It's up to her to make the difference, but at what cost?
