The story is said in the girls perspective as she reminiscence about her time with the boy she lived with. they met when they were 8 the girl was a princess who was shunned by the royal family . then she meets a boy who came to her world from our world . they meet live together trying to help the boy find his way back home .but because he is human they must hide his existence as a human .All Rights Reserved

Once Maya decides that she has a mate, she is not going down without a fight because she is not a possession to be owned. ~~~ (Maya) I was shoved against the lockers and looked into the most beautiful green eyes ever. I mentally sighed and stared at him. The person they belonged to said "Mine!!!!" and buried his head into my neck and I could feel his nose moving against my skin and my neck was met with sparks, was he SNIFFING ME?! "You motherfucker, I am not a possession and I do NOT belong to anyone. So if you could move your sexy body out of the way, I would appreciate it. Also don't sniff people you weirdo." I tried to push him away but he growled at me and held me so I couldn't move. I brought my leg up and kicked him in the family jewels. Bending down I whisper in his ear, "don't mess with me sweetheart and never call me yours." He growled lowly. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.

They were still in their own time, but they didn't know that until they helped their friends. When they got back to their own times, she knew she still had her powers, but Derek didn't. They stayed with each other, then got married and lived happily ever after. That's what they think.
