With the Church of Rebirth holding an iron fist as both church and government over the capital city of Andromeda, people start to fight back. That was over a hundred years ago. Now, the Church has it's claws into cities farther than they'd ever dreamed of reaching.
It's a losing fight for most. Those without the ability to put up a good fight to push back the control either are forced to submit or are tortured for possible information on human experiments before the New Order.
Those experiments are a fraction of the hope and light for people. And there are so few of them.

[Originally written in 2017 for an assignment; expanded and reworked overtime, though eventually I decided this was as far as I was going to go with it. Hope you like it!] As is customary when one reaches twelve years of age, the Order has manufactured your very own Face. As all Faces are created uniquely for the individual, operating based on DNA given to the Order by your kind doctors and physicians, it is required that you wear your Face as often as you can (excluding meals and sleep) to ensure maximum results. Such results, as you may know, include the following: -increased intellect -increase in motor skills/capabilities -drop in anxiety, depression, mood swings...etc. etc. -regulated impulse control to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you -regulated mood to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you * Note that Face technology, while it does improve mental and emotional stability, will not and cannot help or fix physical disabilities, nor can it fix serious mental disabilities. See your local doctor to receive treatment for such ailments, as your Face is incapable of doing so. Your Face, as you may have heard, will be your new identity from this day forward. Andromeda
Ariel gets tricked into Andromeda; a city full of 3 million human mutants with 0.05% wolf DNA. They're all off the grid from the 3 other Desolate cities of the Earth. Andromeda is a strict place, governed by Earnest Winter and patrolled by Four Zenith Alphas; w/ 3.9% Alpha DNA. Ariel needs to work out how the hell to survive, especially when she finds out the only reason she was brought to the wolf-hybrid city was simply to be a chew toy for the Zenith Patrol; Wade, Irving, Micha and Terrell. Ariel may be able to evade them for a time, and may even work out how to escape back home, but she's a curious leopard-human hybrid, and everyone knows curiosity killed the cat.Complete

In the distant future of the 28th century, mankind had survived near extinction then made it into the wider galaxy. With almost no other sapient life in the Milky Way to stop humanity's expansion. Space was ripe for the picking. Now mankind and the enigmatic Voidrians formed the U.S.S.A. The (United Solar Systems Alliance). Before Mankind became the dominant force in the Milky Way, Earth was in shambles. Natural resources were nearly depleted, diseases were rampant and most of Earth's population was in poverty. Then by some miracle of discovery or a cruel cosmic joke, in the mid-23rd century when all humanity could do was go out into space to search for a new home, a small planet that was black as the void around it was discovered. The humans who landed on the little planet had nearly lost all hope until they stumbled upon unknown ancient ruins beneath the planet's surface where they discovered untold amounts of bizarre advanced technology. Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. They deemed the UCA far too significant a threat. So, a known and historically feared spec ops team TaskForce Black Leopard is sent on missions to gather information about the UCA. On the other side of the planet, different views can be heard from afar and wide. While threats far greater than humans or Anthro could ever imagine lurk in the shadows, waiting, and watching. An unnatural force known as the abominationus attacks the earth, a gateway soon opening that connects two worlds, with Black Leopard at the forefront.
