[Completed] Prince Ezekial's curiosity leads him to find the legendary Sword of Corruption, the magical weapon that keeps the monstrous ghouls at bay. However, he is shocked to hear it speak the truth that his father, the King, had kept hidden after all these years. When the world's misfortune was caused by his Father's carelessness, Ezekial feels the need to correct it. Allowing others to suffer for your own mistakes is the path of a villain, not a King. However, the path he takes to correct his Father's sins leads him to hurt those closest to him in the process.

When Ezo's village is lost, he leaves heartbroken but determined to make a difference in the world. Ezo has a rare magical talent but lacks a formal education. His uncle taught him the elements of magic, but not how to deal with people that are suspicious of those with power. Kammon is one of the War-Sworn, a magic-user who dedicates his gifts to protecting his country. When he comes home from the battle, he leaves the military and his rank behind. Unable to find peace with the people he had once served, Kammon searches Distria for a way to atone for his deeds. Their paths interconnect in ways that Ezo doesn't understand and Kammon doesn't trust. Can they find a way to achieve their goals in a world that fears accepting help? Or will the darker forces in the world succeed in burying their dreams?
