Lilly Coles has lived the normal life of a teenager. She's attained good grades, great friends, and of course, a boyfriend. Living the life of an every day teen is abruptly stopped when her mother dies tragically in a shooting. Left with her father, Lilly struggles with her grades, social life and happiness.
