En el cumpleaños numero dieciséis de la mejor amiga de Skylar; Amber, sus padres deciden regalarle lo que cualquier adolescente con dieciséis años quiere.. un auto. 

Pronto habrán deseado nunca haberle entregado las llaves ya que después del toque de las campanas, a la media noche del 31 de diciembre, Amber sufre un trágico accidente que la deja en coma. 

Skylar decidida a que su amiga nunca la olvide decide ir cada día ha contarle lo que pasa mientras ella no esta. Lo que no sabe Sky es que en las trágicas paredes de aquel hospital encontraría una linda historia para contarle a Amber mientas no estuvo.
