Sonya Blake is bullied at school for being an emo outsider who doesn't really fit in with any of the crowds at her school until one day a new student shows up and changes it all. They protect Sonya from her inner demons and the bullies at Cherrywood high school, even though she may not like being protected. Sonya is seventeen, she has been bullied since her parents left her alone at one of the local orphanages when she was only five and has lived with her two abusive foster parents ever since. She cuts and hopes to die, only to get rid of the burning feeling of not being wanted anywhere that she is. Then she lets this new person in after one dreadful rumor is spread out about her at school, only to end up... WARNING: This book will contain, self harm, physical and emotional abuse,cyber bullying, and much more, so if you don't feel comfortable reading about this stuff, do NOT read this.

This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old.
