((This fic is based at the very end of Tenth's life, starting right before he would have returned to the Planet of the Ood to kickstart events of the finale. I wanted to play around with the concept of a companion who isn't really a companion, but rather a traveller of sorts with their own set of rules and ways of travel, and on equal(ish) footing with the Time Lord rather than an ordinary human. Yes there's a healthy dose of complicated/doomed romance because I'm a sucker for writing romance. I think it's fun. My favourite incarnation of the Doctor is perfect for that if I manage to pull it off. This is also the start of my take on a TimeLord Victorious plot line and the scenic route to get to that outcome. There are also crossovers and references to Primeval and various other franchises.))
