Being raised in the Outer City, he never had much in terms of money or possessions, with both parents dead he now fights a constant battle to keep himself fed and healthy, to do so however, he has resorted to stealing. But little did he know, his skills were noticed by more then just common folk.

How will they survive against deadly monsters, magical beasts, and superhumans that could threaten entire nations? And how will the other powers that exist in this world react to a powerful, advanced nation filled with a race they deem inferior? This is the story of one of the most powerful empires on Earth, and how it broke the balance of power and rose to the top.
