Beneath the Blood Moon

Leila is a werewolf, an Alpha daughter from a rare Alpha line. Due to circumstances prior to her birth, her once proud and powerful pack was nearly wiped out. With their rightful Alpha dead, their territory decimated and their numbers too small to compete with larger packs, what remained became homeless; moving from place to place and living off the generosity of other packs who respected their heritage.
When Alpha Gregor, a wolf from a pack of great influence, offers them not only a visit but a permanent place of residence in exchange for Leila's elder sister, the current Alpha of the Copii lunii agrees.
Years pass in peace after the arrangement, until a series of unfortunate events lead to Leila finding herself alone during the worst possible time of year; The Blood Moon, when all female wolves go into heat, with disastrous consequences.
