Ella is the Titanic's first female officer. Her father co-owns White Star Line hence helping her get the position. 

Not everyone is happy to have a female officer on board but there's nothing they can do. They all do whatever they can to make Ella feel apart of the team. 

William Murdoch is Ella's superior and has to help her out but tensions rise between them. Ella knows he isn't happy about having her on the ship. 

Can they overcome their differences or is their relationship doomed before it even starts?
