Roger Littleton, recently divorced and more than slightly depressed is talked into taking a cruise by his friends. The "trip of a lifetime" they told him and it may have actually turned out that way had the ship not sunk in a hurricane that quickly overtook the craft.
Now apparently the only survivor, alone in the vast ocean with nothing but a few supplies he can do nothing but hope to survive and now he has plenty of time to revisit the demons that haunt him. And then out of the sky comes an asteroid that crashes into the ocean and everything he thought he knew about the world is turned around.

In my world you have to be one of the Elite. After graduating from 8th grade it is a shitshow. You wait long intense nights filled with fear because you know one day they will come for you. Mermaids, beaches, fairies! this place is awesome. someone then snatched the book out my hands. "Mermaids? what is this crap?" I looked up to see Cynthia and her clique.
