Counting Tears

Hope's life is full of tragedy. Her parents are gone, and everything seems to be going more than just downhill- more like falling off a cliff. Hope has to live up to her name if she or her five-year-old brother are to survive. Yet it seems that she has more trouble awaiting her just around the corner: Trouble like nothing she's faced before, and more than that, love.

But if Hope's learned anything from her life, it's that you can't trust a good thing to hang around too long.
