An epic take on Cinderella's classic fairy tale told through the eyes of an ugly sister. Anastasia feels overshadowed by her half sister Ella's talents, so when the royal ball invitation arrives she feels she can gain her mother's approval by marrying the prince. When her plan goes awry and Ella ends up engaged, she does the unforgivable.
Leon is a resentful man who felt he deserved more than he got in life. When he doesn't receive the promotion in the royal military he believed he was owed, Leon goes on to betray his country in the worst way possible.
When the two are thrown together not only do sparks fly, but ice thaws as they both realize the price they must pay for their sins.
