Summer Hastings was never supposed to come back to Tree Hill. After years in L.A., chasing a dream of becoming an actress while her parents remained too busy to notice, returning to her hometown feels like a step in the wrong direction. But some things never change-like her place on the cheer squad, her friendships with Brooke and Peyton, and the town's never-ending obsession with the Ravens. What has changed is Nathan Scott. Once her childhood best friend, now the arrogant basketball star with something to prove, Nathan barely resembles the boy she grew up with. They drifted apart as he became harder, colder-more like his father. But the problem with history is that it doesn't just disappear. And no matter how much time has passed, there's still something unspoken between them. In Tree Hill, the past has a way of catching up with you. And for Summer and Nathan, US was never really over.
