Marshall was Chloe's first everything; boyfriend, kiss, love. They met whilst at school when Chloe had moved to Detroit with her mum from Australia, although only together for two years before returning back to Aus it was meant to be them against the world forever. Time and continents between them changed that plan and after fourteen years Chloe takes a job as a visiting professor at the University of Detroit. Although it was in incredible opportunity for her career, it had also provided the possibly to try and see Marshall again although she wasn't read to admit that, to herself or her husband who had no idea of his wife's past love
