Linyang pinaniniwalaan ni Mia mula nung pagkabata niya. Hindi siya ini-iwan ng mga magulang niya, kung iwan man ito, binabalikan siya ng may mga dalang pasalubong at mamahaling laruan mula sa ibang bansa. Hanggang pag-tanda niya ay lagi niyang sinasabi iyon. Dahil akala nito, lahat ng taong nasa paligid niya nandyan lagi para sakanya.

Pero, paano kung dumating ang isang araw na iwanan siya ng isa sa kanyang pinakama-mahal sa buhay niya at bigla na lang maglaho? Kaya pa kaya niyang maniwala na babalikan siya nito? O ipaglalaban niya ang nilalaman ng puso, hindi isip niya?
