For a seventeen year old, Carmin Stone has a lot on her plate. Between maintaining her perfect grades, lengthy and tiresome dance rehearsals and babysitting her two younger siblings, she hasn’t got time for much else. Despite her perfect physique, Carmin generally opts for clothing that hides her features, well, until she runs into Isaac Logan, quite literally. Her fire red hair, sapphire blue eyes and porcelain skin is no longer a secret, and she finds herself at the center of the student body’s attention. When she thinks she’s at her wits end, strange things begin to happen in her life. People she once trusted she can no longer turn to, and it seems the one she trusts the least is her go-to-guy for emotional breakdowns. Carmin’s never been a normal teenage girl with normal teenage girl drama, but the universe has decided to play its hand in her life, altering its course and giving her one hell of an emotional whiplash.
