It's been over a century since Ciel's story began, and it's still going strong as the queen gives her "immortal guard dog" a task he might not be able to conquer. Entering the foster system in order to be as inconspicuous as possible, Ciel carries out the queens request-and the repercussions that come with it.

Everyone knows who the Queen's guard dog is: Ciel Phantomhive. What happens when the Queen finds another pet, this time a sly kitty with her unearthly butler, and decides to make a team of the two? Excerpt from Chapter One: "Lady Maria Elrose, also known as the Queen's kitten." The butler's eyes widened a little bit before he was rudely shoved aside by a smaller boy with an eyepatch and one blue eye that was visible. "She's a girl?! An actual girl?!" He looked her over, his shock momentarily showing. "You are the Queen's dog, are you not," Maria replied. "I do not believe you are an actual dog either." Ciel looked long and hard at her, realizing that she wasn't just some ditzy - animal - pet of the Queen. ----------------------------------- Excerpt from Chapter 10: Sebastian slowly shook his head, and Ciel closed his eyes and leaned back in his chair, his untouched tea sitting on the table before him. Anyone - human or demon - could literally see the worry rolling off of him in waves. Sebastian himself felt a twinge of... something. "I will find her, my Lord." He bowed deeply as Ciel responded. "You had better, I ordered you to."

Lydia Jennings was your normal 21-year-old young lady. She had just started her first job after finishing up school. It wasn't her dream job, but it was a start. She loved watching Black Butler. It was set in the same era, but with supernatural elements. She was drawn to some of the characters in the show but brushed it off. It wasn't like she'd ever get to meet them, they were fictional. She kept her head down and continued her life until one day everything changed. (FanFic Rewritten) Ciel lost his parents in a fire, or so he thought...he was later kidnapped and tortured til he summoned a what seemed like a Raven (Demon) he made a contract to find the person/persons responsible for the death of his parents...although, being the queens guard dog was something important he did on the side he still found his way around it, he sees that this so called "queen" somehow pulls him closer and further away with each little task that's given, he soon believes he knows who it is behind all this...when that person was really standing there hidden in the shadows the whole time. (credit to Avenacookie & me, guess were writing it together ^w^ also! keep in mind I do not own this show! or characters!, we may also still leave in a couple ideas that was in the anime so yeah...hope you enjoy it thanks! :)
