President Stone has finally been taken down and peace has returned to Metro City. Everyone has accepted Astro as their friend and savior, and he can finally return back to his normal life. However, among the rubble, a young boy emerges, frightened and confused. Toby pushes himself to his feet and takes a few steps forwards before he is knocked to the ground once more. He looks up and his eyes widen when he sees an exact replica of himself. A boy with his face, who practically stole his identity. Out of spite for the newly arisen hero, a newfound hatred rises inside of Toby as he stares at the happy robot. Instead of facing him head on however, he runs. Toby runs away to a place where all outcasts go. A place where the hiding remain hidden. It is there, he meets a girl bearing odd tattoos with no memory of ever getting them, a man who has lost his face, a ringmaster of an illegal circus of the unknown. This mysterious place of convicts and runaways certainly brings about many questions. However, the biggest question of all was, "Who are you?" "I'm you. The new you." . . . "You and I, we're one and the same."
Brassworks
There is a saying in the Badlands: There are many ways to get to the Brassworks, but all leave in a box. The Old World is gone, smashed beneath the heel of the great mountain, King Abaddon, many generations ago. A new civilization has risen from the ashes, struggling to survive in the new and harsh landscape. At the edge of a poor governance, in a dying town, a young blacksmith just ran afoul of the law. In some cities, that would mean a trip to local jail or court. In the Badlands, that means the Brassworks. Theo Palmer can't recall why he ended up in the hellish prison, but he knows he'll never leave. The Warden needs workers for the Forge deep underground. The drums of war are beating to the north, and only a twisted weapon from the past can save the people of the County. But there are many powers in the Vale of the King. Some seek to preserve the peace, while others aim to end it. Some hunger for justice, while others hunger for flesh. Floating amongst a far off solar system, a coreless planet lays drifting. Its surface frozen over with nothing internally to heat through its mantles, making life ordinarily impossible to survive on. The planets previous inhabitants have been left to mere bones and dust from the destruction of the planets core, with their creations left to wander the remains and pick up the pieces of the now humanless world. But one day the fabric of the universe warped and pinched, and the planet saw its only piece of organic life in years, hair unnaturally whitened and an eye blacked out, donning clothing unfit for the harsh conditions. But luck had it that this person stumbled across the robotic creations that the dead humans left behind, giving him shelter from the piercing cold of the outside. But not all was fine, food is scarce, and searching for food becomes a necessity to provide for this misfit among those who do not need sustenance. Bearing the cold will likely be inevitable, and after his necessities are met, perhaps this spontaneous visitor could assist those providing him shelter, there isn't much left to do on this planet, after all.

To add onto that, the new guy at school hates her guts for reasons she doesn't understand. But then, she realizes something just isn't adding up. She's blamed for things she's quite sure she didn't do and between taking detentions, to making out with other girls’ boyfriends and getting arrested, Dayna has had enough. She wants to know who is impersonating her and why. Fed up with the situation, she confides in her robotic scientist parents who shamefully admit that they had created a perfect clone of her…that somehow managed to escape. Amid the huge mess her life has become, she meets Kyle, who is an agent assigned to her to keep her safe from her so-called clone. He is also the new boy at school that has an unadulterated hatred for her. Kyle is more man than boy, who has a cynical outlook at life, and a very black and white way of looking at things. As the school term ends and she graduates, Dayna finds herself having a very interesting summer filled with planning, strategizing, and an unknown attraction towards Kyle.
