We had seen each other before, no doubt met each other too. But we never really noticed each other before then. She was on my silent performing arts team for years right beside me and yet our paths never crossed. How we became friends and when? I'm not entirely sure. Though, I do know how; We were put together as prayer partners for part of the practice where we had to talk and get to know each other. Later we had asked each other why this hadn't happened earlier. There was so much time that had been lost, even when we didn't know we wanted it. Time. One of the things that was never on our side. Three years filled with a whole lot of laughter later, we were separated. I should be used to this by now. I've lost so many to separation. Never seeming to get it right. Why does this matter in this story? Well, I believe I finally got it right, so I'm gonna give myself a chance at a wonderful life.
