Kate had a great childhood. But her life took a wrong turn and things turned for the worse. Her dad is in jail and her mom is in a care home for depression. But Kate is done reliving her past, in fact she wish she could do anything to forget it. She never thought she had the time to fall for someone, with juggling a full time job, school, and witnessing her parents relationship crumble, until she meets Xander.
