Eden twitches a frown but doesn't let his guard down. He holds the knife in his grasp tightly in case she attacks again, "I don't trust you, mi vida. Your skills are too sharp for you to be a mere civilian."
A quivering laugh escapes Luna's lips, nodding to herself, "Yeah, you may be right," And her eyes suddenly met Eden's, the smile now gone, "But I know this for sure... If you dare raise your knife up at me again.... I think I'll kill you."

Luna Alvarez doesn't remember her past.
Well, blanks and pieces here and there, but she never remembered where she came from, or why she started running in the first place. She doesn't know how she ended up in America - where everyone was quite different from her, or why she only lived with her mother at a broken-down apartment in California.
Years later, her mother remarried a decent man, Daniel, and started a new life together. The man had two other kids, to which were around Luna's age, and they all moved together as a family.
Until Luna's mother got sick, leaving her daughter to face life on her own - the last person connected to her past. After her mother's passing, her stepdad was not the same sweet man as he portrayed in front of the mother. Soon enough, Luna became practically a servant to him and his kids.
That's until the new kids at her university arrived, the Cruz siblings - snatching the attention to every student present - especially eldest son out of the five siblings, Eden.
All it took was one night where the middle child, Andres, announced a large party at their house for everyone to go.
A night where Luna discovered far more about the of the Cruz siblings than she would've liked, along with pieces of her past in relations to who her family actually were.
