The Dawn of a new age was upon us. A call to arms throughout the city. Many citizens grabbed their shotguns and SMGs, heading for the front-lines of the rebellion...
But none have returned. Soon the fighting was quelled, and none of the rebels survived the onslaught... Not even the One Free Man could. And soon, City 17 lost hope again. Alyx Vance, her father Eli Vance, and Dr. Isaac Kliener had gone missing, leaving the city with no hope to remain alive under Combine assault.
