Having build up my courage, I finally asked him about what has been on my mind since I saw him for the first time.
"I know that you aren't normal since the way you rescued me was impossible for anyone ordinary. Do you have any superpowers?" I asked curiously, staring at him with big sparkling eyes in hope to get an answer.

"No, I don't?" The other one replied, raising his eyebrow.

"So what are you? You can't be a human, we aren't capable of running so fast without superpowers." I crossed my arms in front of my chest. "I am not dumb, you know. Don't lie to me."

"I am a vampire" He responded out of nowhere with an emotionless face and looked into my eyes. Suddenly I saw that the color of his eyes has changed into a beautiful purple.

"And what is a vampire doing here?"

He kept looking at me, giving my a feeling like he was staring inside my soul.
"You believe me so easily?"

"Well... that would explain how you saved me from the taxi."

He smirked at me and finally answered my question.
"I am searching for my soulmate. He is a human being, just like you." In the end, he smirked wider, allowing me to see his sharp white fangs.

"Nice to meet you, human."

"Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" But as soon as you blinked, they shut again and you questioned if you saw right in the first place. It could have been because you were too excited about the star and you created an illusion for yourself. Or that naively, you had wished upon the star that he would wake up to see the sky with you.
