"I'm not enough for you." I state. "Why would you say that?" "I've never been enough for anyone so how can I be enough now?" I countered, he paused and gave me a puzzled look, "What on earth are you talking about, Harper?" "You don't understand!" I shout. "Then make me." He responds much calmer than me. After a long pause I'm finally able to say it. "I'm too broken." I say as my voice returns to its quiet state, "if you stay then you're forced to deal with my issues. It's selfish of me to put that upon you. No one should have to put up with me." My eyes burn as the tears start to fall.
Harper has so much to her that no one can see, most of the time she can barely see it herself. She's at a new school, in a new town and wants to make a new her. She finds someone who might be able to help her, but can her troubling past allow her to let her walls down?

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more.
