This story is about two girls, Shade and Anisa, who are from totally different walks of life that meet in college. They are close but not close enough to share their personal tribulations they they've had before and during college. Both of them run into the wrong people and end up in the wrong crowd, thus begins war of the decision between staying at this particular college or leaving after their first year. One of them winds up in so much trouble that she battles for her life and loses. Nobody sees it coming, especially her. This is a book about good and evil, war and peace, and life and death. Oh, and about school.
