Melissa is orphaned after loosing her parents at the age of seven while visiting the ocean. The fear of what had happened caused her voice to go silent. Most would think that loosing your parents at the beach would frighten you and keep you from it. Bit even with the appearance of a boy a year later that tries to befriend Melissa, she seams to have this issue with leaving the shore or waters of the the ocean that took the lives of her parents.
