In the town of Canmore, Alberta, there's this girl who is rarely known. She lives where the sunlight is barely seen. Where the tall pine trees hide the soul of Mary Black. A tall, brunette girl, with huge emerald green eyes. Her laughter fades away through the wind. Her parents were both found dead in the woods with two similar holes in the left side of their neck. The police say it might have been a "wolf." Since that "wolf" accident, Mary has been living with her grandma, Annie, near the forests of Larch.
The life of Mary Black is about to begin, but she doesn't know that yet. One day, she went hunting to the woods with her bow. While she was hunting a squirrel, she felt someone was following her. That continued occurring for a week. The next week that "someone" finally appeared and her life changed drastically. Who do think that was that "someone" that turned her peace down? That turned her life into a mystery? If that person wouldn't have appeared, she wouldn't know who she truly is. She finally got the answer to the question she has been wondering all of her life, who she really is.
Ps: the book was created in 2014, so it is nothing related to Taylor Swift's song. Also, I never watched The Vampire Diaries nor The Originals so I think it is funny how I chose the cast.
