The Black Shadow forest; a name which screams terror into the minds of most people doesn't seem to faze Lauren Mathews- a teenager living her life like most others but still significantly different. The forest known to contain gruesome creatures is equivalent to a tragically beautiful masterpiece in Lauren's mind because in most ways it is similar to her reveling on the fact that she too has had assumptions and lies spread around her like a wildfire.
Being the lonely child that she was, Lauren opted for creating her own fantasy; one in which she would have a best friend named Cyrus. Together they created such memories which were unforgettable until one day Cyrus disappears for what Lauren thought was forever.
But what if Cyrus was actually real?
Lauren's world completely changes when she finds herself in a situation where fantasy and reality seem to collide. A world where everything is not what it seems and all of this too, when she stumbles upon an enchanting forest once upon a walk.
